A Front Load Washer Saves You Money And Time

Front load washers can be a great purchase and investment for your home. They are some of the most energy efficient washers out there, that's why they are considered “green” products. Front load washers actually use less water than traditional washer machines. This is a dramatic difference, usually about six to eight times less water than normal. The clothes tumble around instead of just soaking, and they tumble into the water, which is the reason why there is less water needed.

Front load washers are extremely fast and can spin at over one thousand revolutions per minute. Being so fast, it would be an assumption to say that it would be rough on your clothes, but in fact, it is the opposite. A front load washer is very gentle on your clothes. This fast spin causes every last droplet of water to be extracted from the clothes. This means that the clothes are less wet going into the dryer, meaning that they dry faster. This saves more power and electricity, cutting your energy bill down even more.

The one big downside with front load washer machines is the price, usually pricing in at over one thousand dollars. I personally bought a front load washer last year and am so glad that I did. I bought the Samsung WF448AAW which cost me under fourteen hundred dollars. It was a hefty tag, but it has already lowered some of my costs. This is the best front load washer on the market in my opinion. It has tons of cycles, holds a ton of clothes, and is very quiet. It is equipped with Samsung’s Silver Care technology, which kills over ninety nine percent of bacteria and odors.

It does this by releasing silver ions into the wash. These metals kill the bacteria and then it also reduces odors. No molds have ever been present unlike my last washer. It is one of the highest rated washers out there. The few negatives I have noticed about the product is that it is one of the more expensive ones out there, so you might have to go for the budget option. One other big development is that some health experts say that the Silver Care technology actually harms the environment when it releases the silver into ponds and rivers. It can corrupt the drinking water, which can spread very quickly due to the water cycle.

If you are looking for a budget front load washer, I have been in homes that have the Amana NFW7200TW. It will only run about seven hundred dollars, which is about half the price of the Samsung. It has a much less capacity for clothes, but does employ many of the same features like killing bacteria and odors, while creating no mold. It actually has a mold-reducing seal which is not in any other front load washer which prevents mold from growing. It has a significantly weaker (slower) cycle, and is not as reliable as the Samsung. I recommend the Samsung for the best option, but if you can’t spend over a thousand, the Amana will do just fine.
